In this episode of The Flock Rundown, we break down the latest update in the Baltimore Ravens head coaching search as the team officially begins its second round of interviews, starting with Anthony Weaver.

The Ravens completed interviews with 16 candidates in the first round and are now narrowing the list as the process becomes more focused and deliberate. We discuss what Weaver’s second interview signals, which candidates are gaining real traction, and how playoff schedules are impacting who the Ravens can speak with right now — and who they’ll have to wait on.

We also take a look at other coaching vacancies around the league, including the Buffalo Bills, and how movement elsewhere could influence Baltimore’s timeline and options.

I walk through my current top head coaching candidates, explain what traits matter most for this next era of Ravens football, and why — despite the uncertainty — I’m choosing to trust the Ravens to get this hire right.

  1. i’m gleaming ear to ear knowing we didn’t hire stefanski 😭😭😭 i was so scared he was gaining traction once we interviewed him

  2. I have this feeling it’s gonna be Kubiak and I’m so with it. BTW the bulk of his offense basically they went out and acquired over the off season. We need someone who can identify talent and re-took the line. Also to finally have an offensive play caller as a HC has been my desire for a long time along with the continuity of scheme long term for Lamar. And his scheme fits our skill position personnel perfectly…

  3. Stefanski has this ability to fail upward I’ll never understand… bro ran one of the most dog water offenses I’ve ever seen and got a WAY better job that’s pretty ready to compete.

  4. I hope we don't get your preferred guys. Your list is really smart mind but limited to very limited leaders of Dawgs. McDaniel said himself he lost Miami's locker room that's on record. He said someone needs to change the culture of the locker room.

  5. Top 3 are Flores, Saleh, and Kubiak in no particular order. Personally not a fan of Minter, he has Raven's ties but the Charger's D was middle of the pack. I get they didn't have elite talent but Flores did more w/ less.

  6. McDermott is an interesting wrinkle in all this. Bills are extremely stupid for letting him go. He didnt have the management issues that john had

  7. I dont think jesse minter has a shot tbh. Thats just the medias wanna be star. I think ravens are waiting for a Kubiak. Or a combo of Saleh and McDaniels

  8. I like kubiak but i don’t want to sleep on a Shula/Nate pairing. No guarantee Kubiack can bring any one of value over to his staffs Shula could easily bring Nate as an OC. The cheapest defense in the NFL just gave the bears a fight.

  9. Pour all our chips into Kubiak. The man was born to coach. He has been immersed into football greatness since he came out the womb. He was a team captain his senior year at CSU as a SAFTEY and then got his Masters in Resource Development. He’s 38, has been through multiple different organizations and has seen the good bad and the ugly. Also, Ben Johnson really demonstrates the way NFL success is trending and that it’s through the quirky young coaches who grew up loving the XOs but can relate to players without it being forced. I think that’s Klint.

  10. I think the Ravens are more appealing overall, from the front office, to the roster, it’s not only Lamar but DERRICK Henry and Ky Ham I feel we’re more SB ready than the Bills.
