expect less. we are hardcapped, so unless FVV waives his trade clause, we arent making moves
Oh, rest assured, the Rockets are making some trades this year. They need some vets that can still play. Specifically, they need a point guard and another big body, especially now that Steven Adams went down, Sengun has been hurt and Jabari Smith is a princess who hates the paint.
All we need is a good PG who can space the floor, run the offense and play defense, and some shooters, lol.
I’d rather not waste a first rounder for a guy who isn’t gonna move the needle enough for the ring.
Keep the assets. Hell I don’t even mind selling assets for multiple first rounders. Tari still hasn’t signed his extension and could be worth up to 3 first rounders. We could use that ammo to get someone who is actually going to move the needle
Its impossible to upgrade as we are hard capped and Fred has a NTC.
I keep thinking who we can get to improve this team at reasonable price. And I can’t think of anyone. Which team going nowhere is willing to part away with their stars?

Cam Thomas? How’s his defense?
McCollum? Can he help us advance to conference final?

Tyus Jones or Tre Mann would be nice, attainable gets. Would love a wing who could shoot but I can’t think of a cheap player that fits the bill.
We are trying to trade for a player that doesn’t exist. A ball handling playmaker that can shoot and defend.
Australia’s NBL concludes soon, maybe we should look international instead of NBA
