The Saints could get a 5th-7th round pick. I'd like to see Rattler go to the Cardinals, he's from Arizona and that will give him more of an incentive to excell.
……or we could just keep Spencer as a Backup.
I don't think we will get a LOT of capital for Spencer. Perhaps one decent draft pick and perhaps a lousy one.
2 3rds or a 3rd and a 4th 2026-2027.
I think a straight up trade for Brisset from the cardinals and Rattler would be reasonable. We still need a backup qb and if rattler goes we would need to draft another. A seasoned backup could provide more advise for Shough.
I think we can definitely get a 3rd for Rattler and maybe a 5th or 6th I don’t see us getting a second there maybe someone desperate to pull the trigger on that if they believe in Rattler however a 3rd I can definitely see plus a late pick
I would take a 3rd and a 5th for rattler
As a saints fan, rattler will need to got to a situation where it’s already set up for him to succeed like darnold or baker. We can get a 4th for him
Why trade rattler for a 5th or 6th and then draft another for 5th of 6th.

If the Saints move on from Rattler they will need to find another backup QB, it's unlikely they will find one as good as Rattler for the capital they will obtain for trading Rattler. IF Rattler wants to leave is the only time they should even consider it. If he's willing to stay, keep him.
You dont trade your backup for anything less than a 3rd/4th round pick

Rattler's attractive to at least half the teams in the league… he'll be traded before or after the draft. 5th round value or thereabout… 4th is optimistic
The overall NFL QB talent is very thin right now. Best free agent was going to be Daniel Jones (Achilles)… now Malik friggin Willis.
You have probably Stafford, Flacco, Rodgers, maybe Russ, Rivers (again), others retiring.
Mahomes and Dan Jones are probably hurt to start 2026. JDaniels and Jaxson can't stay on the field.
JJ McCarty, Penix, Bryce Young, others are looking busty. Stroud looks bad too. There is a BIG deficiency of quarterback talent in the league overall right now.
All that hype fpr Rattler last year and i knew Shough was going to be better and number one. So much glazing Rattler last year it was crazy
