  1. My coworkers say I’m stuck in the late 90s. Might be true but this is not a part of that era I want to re-live

  2. It’s actually only 8, guys. Don’t get too excited yet.

We’re winless in 11, but that record is 13.

  3. Honestly I’ll take all the losses we can get right now. I think we get a few less when Rossi, Chytil and Blueger all come back.

  4. Technically the 11 games is a winless streak, as they’ve had OT losses during this streak.

  5. I want them to lose all their games this month because it’s fun to see that once in a while.

  6. Technically, not so. They are on 9, (since older seasons did not have SOL). That would have counted as a tie previously. The 10 game loss streak had two OTL.

This ties 1974-1975 which had 9 straight losses, none going to overtime, which is a Canuck record.

It ties both of the streaks in 1984-1985, with 9 straight losses, none going to overtime.

It also ties the 1987-1988 streak of 9 losses without any going to overtime.

So this has happened before. If the Canucks lose one more game before OT they will have 10 straight losses without even reaching overtime, which is a Canuck record.
