  3. This dude doesn’t know how to not be a fucking clown. His ego’s so big that he’s hurt we don’t respect his jump shot and his mouths so big he can’t help but to spout nonsense to make us look bad for it.

    When spurs do it with Wemby it’s considered smart coaching and load management, when hornets do it with Lamelo it’s considered tanking. Not to mention we’re playing the best we have in years in this recent stretch. Being a fan of a small franchise is hell sometimes

    No shot we’re the tanking team after beating OKC like we did and having one of the best offensive ratings in the league since we got (mostly) healthy.

  6. I understand the premise of being mad about coaches saying “Dont play to win. Make sure we lose.” But if theres no chance we are going to have a good season, players like rookie Tidjane or G league players getting real minutes isnt a bad thing.

    It’s clear Draymond is talking out of his ass and hasn’t watched the hornets like that all season. He’s got his podcast and has to get his clips, this is just a lazy take and I’m not surprised.

    Also if they were so blatantly tanking why would they continue playing Josh Green over guys like Mcneely or other young players.

This is unconscionably stupid bc Melo’s amount of minutes haven’t changed at all, only where they come in the game and he shifted away from starting so he could play more minutes in the 4th quarter. Also we are 3-3 in that stretch with some tough wins on a west coast swing, a total shellacking of the Jazz where we out scored them by over 50, and some close calls against the hot Clippers and not so hot Pacers. So if we are tanking we are doing a horrible job at it.

    If he was criticizing the minutes restriction, it’s really hard for me to agree. Playing 25 minutes every night (can be less on B2Bs) is way better than 40 minutes for 30-35 games a year. This is the healthiest he’s been in a while, that can’t be discounted.

  24. It wasn’t tanking, but it was a very arrogant and stupid strategy to go at a dynasty team with the plan of sitting your best player to save him for a crunch time that you honestly should have no reason to expect to matter. And it was no surprise when that 4th quarter ended up garbage time

    You want to beat a team like that you gotta come out and try to punch them in the mouth with your best, not pull out your bum ass strategy that you couldn’t even beat the Pacers with
