    On league managements and local governments

I am a Bisexual man and in no way speak for the whole community but keep the stuff out of sports.I watch sports to get away from political bs if the players want to support me and other people within the LGBTQ community, they have plenty of platforms out there.We don't have to put it in the middle of a sports game. And let the players choose to support me don't force them because forced support is no support at all

    They will always offend someone by doing this. You won't attract anyone, you'll only lose attracton.

  20. I assume the reason they support gay stuff in sports is because many athletes and higher-up positions are closet gays. They hope to come out and be celebrated for their gayness instead of being ridiculed when others discover it.

  22. You are assuming a lot here. There were several valid reasons for the players opting out beyond virtue signalling. There are anti LGBTQ laws in Russia that could impact the families of any Russian players, so any Russian player is not going to participate. Then there were several religious objectors. On top of that hockey players are EXTREMELY superstitious about things like hockey tape. I've knows HS and college players who would go into a panic if their specific tape for their sticks was not in the bag on game night. It's part of their pregame ritual with these guys, and using rainbow tape when you're making push for the playoffs is never going to happen. Nice try bending the actual situation to fit your narrative, but I think it's a fail this time – it's just a bad idea for many reasons.
