NFL Rooney Rule:
NFL teams are required to interview 2 minority candidates for a head coach vacancy in person. For the Cleveland Browns, Mike McDaniel and his in person interview with the Browns will satisfy one requirement of the Rooney Rule. The Browns need to wait to interview Los Angeles Rams Nate Scheelhaase due to NFL rules.

  1. IDGAF if he's 30 years old or could build a car with his brain. Is he a leader of men? Will he hold players accountable? Is he going to motivate players to win? Those are the bare minimum qualities the playmakers on this team asked for. It doesn't matter what the fans want because the fans are not going to be out on the field or in the locker room.

And Schwartz is only under contract for 1 more year. Do you really think he's going to stay around to mentor somebody that got the job he wanted? 😂 absolutely not! So if they choose to go with somebody, that's supposed to be an offensive mind, be prepared for defense to go down after the Schwartz leaves.

  2. Stefanski getting the Atlanta coaching so fast, says something about the miserable Andrew "Watson" Berry and owner Haslam. They wanted to coach the coach. Only Schwartz will be his own man

  3. I've been hearing a lot of Brown's players on both sides of the ball are really wanting Jim Schwartz to coach the team. Not the route I'd go or would want. I think they need to keep Jim as the DC. I feel our defense will go do down hill, having Jim coach both sides of the ball instead of just focusing on the defense. Jim may/could be the one, I don't know. However, as a life long Browns fan, I do know our track record is absolute sh*t when it comes to hiring a head coach. Stefanski was the best coach we had up to recent days and that's in a span of over 25 years. I just hope we can get this right for once.

  4. We don’t need another Stefanski type experiment. No thanks………and why the fuck are you using MKC as a source. I guess you showed your intelligence…….

  5. Udinski is too young, inexperienced, unqualified, and a typical person inept Haslem would hire to personify his ignorance and idealism. Not thinking logically but idealistically.

  6. We don't need going into this thinking 'the next (insert coach)' because it rarely ever is. I really don't want some complete greenhorn, but the Browns won't hire some strong, demanding experienced guy. They'll hire a puppet. You want young and experienced, McDermott is the guy. But in my heart of hearts, they want a guy they can dictate to, not the other way around.

  7. They have betting odds on the coaching search?! You know it's getting out of hand when they think people are willing to wager cash on a Jimmy Haslem decision
