  1. In a casual fanbase, we’re going to highlight the offensive output. The unsung hero in this game was their defense. They forced the Knicks to take contested shots & they capitalized on the other end.

  2. Max has been playing always like that..very consistent, but everyone focused so much on flagg and forgot about him. When flagg was out they realized mavericks had a great player on max.

  3. Butler got injured tonight. And AD and Jimmy Butler's contract are identical, but Butler doesnt have a player option. Lowkey willing to trade AD for Butler…here's my thoughts:

Trade AD, Klay, Martin, and Hardy…for Butler, Kuminga, Hield, and Post, plus a future protected 1st.

It puts us in a position to drop 1 year on the Davis contract, Tank for the year and trade Butler next trade deadline once he recoups value (or is salary dump), and gets two bad players/contracts off our team for Kuminga which is a gamble, and Hield who is a solid role player, and Post who is young + expiring.

The Warriors would do this to maintain contention this year, get Klay and Davis, who are on the Curry timeline (tank after), and get off Kuminga's contract who they can't seem to find a market for. If they aren't liking it, I'd probably just do it for a protected pick swap instead of an outright pick

  4. Max Christie is 22. Max Christie is 22. Max Christie is 22. Should I say it again? He’s about 5 years away until his prime and he’s playing way beyond his years

  5. Imagine if Luka doesn’t extend after the next contract and wants to go to Dallas back home !!! Coop would be a high wire act fun back into the building again

  6. Another Slovenian Mavs fan here… this morning, it was up to -7 degrees Celsius (please just translate this into Fahrenheit as you please) even in the coastal part of Slovenia where I live, so it's goddamn cold… For the record, I agree with you guys that it's easier to build around Cooper as there's less pressure to put an extremely defensively good players around your primary star, since sometimes all the Luka's offensive genious unfortunately can't offset him being constantly targeted on the defense… Anyway, I wish all the best to Mavs, Luka, the three of you on Locked on, all the Racoon squad and the Lakers – in that order. Cheers from Slovenia!
