[Pelissero] Super Bowl-winning coach Mike McCarthy will interview Wednesday with the Steelers, per sources. McCarthy was a candidate for the Titans before withdrawing Monday morning and has turned down other inquiries. He’s focused on Pittsburgh, where he’s considered a strong candidate.

1. If McCarthy is our new HC and Rodgers stay as our QB because of their relationship on the Packers, then it would be a giant mistake. We would be running back the same team with a different HC. This is a great time to change what has been wrong for the past decade.

   Also, I honestly don’t mind tanking for a season with Howard or someone else as QB to get a top 5 pick in 2027. Best case, Howard does well and we can build around him. Worst case, he’s awful and we draft a QB in 2027 which is supposed to have a great QB class.

   For the love of god, don’t bring back Rodgers and don’t bring in McCarthy.
