So long story short, I was a bat boy years and years ago for the Capital City Bombers. David Wright has been my hero ever since.
Once of his least games played there he gifted me this bat. Unfortunately, I was unable to get it signed because we only had black sharpies and he was promoted before I got to see him again.
Is there a way to send it and get it signed without risking never seeing my bat again?

You can mail him a letter and see what he says. Some ex-players who don’t really need money will sign items for a donation to charity. You may even want to suggest that in the letter.
Reach out to Jay Horwitz. If anyone could figure out how to make that happen, it would be him.
