49ers BREAKING: Robert Saleh to Tennessee Titans

  1. Tennessee hiring a defensive minded HC for a team with no weapons and #31 ranked offense is not going to fix the titans and this will RUIN Saleh last chance at a HC position he will be a DC again in 5 years and not get a shot again for at least 7 years.

  2. The 49ers LB Nick Martin has all physical attributes to become a versatile hybrid linebacker/safety player. John Lynch can take an active role of training Nick to be an effective safety since he was an All-pro himself.

  3. Gotta be Happy for Saleh. If he’s the one who used the picks on Defensive Players then my Hat is off to him because he picked some Dogs for us and not only did he pick some dogs for us they outperformed EVERYONE’s expectations in their amazing playoff run gaining that valuable experience and gaining that long season callus after playing a total of 19 games including playoffs. Wow that is so incredible and inspiring. Gives me a Ton of Hope for 2026 Season. Let’s go, Bang Bang Niner Gang, Stay Faithful – Faithful!

  4. Retaining Boyer should be high priority. Important to the Niners for him to develop his system. Injuries had a worse impact on his teams than on Offense and Defense.

  5. Damn, here we go again…. Good Luck to Saleh in Tennessee, He should've stayed with the Niners for at least another year. Hope his time in Tennessee doesn't end like the Jets

  6. Gus Bradley would actually be an upgrade at DC. Remember, Saleh learned under Bradley, when Bradley was the DC during the peak of the Legion of Boom.

  7. Lots of holes to fill this next off season. Draft a center….I like the Indiana Center if he’s available…. Then draft a star Tight End ….Trade Ricky P. Low ceiling… injury prone, too fragile….

  8. Good luck to Saleh but as with most failing franchises, new coaches rarely get time to produce results. The Titans may fire him after 1 season if they don’t make the playoffs!

  9. As usual, another excellent breakdown/analysis/summation of 49ers current situation, and potential future directions. Me? 90 years young/healthy and still active 49er fan; saw my first live game in 1948 at the old Kezar Stadium with my dad. Also, about mid '50s, played water polo/swimming team at then San Francisco State College. Had a guy who swam Fort Baker to Alcatraz for the hell of it.

  10. I saw that Steve Spagnuolo was on the list of interviewees for the Titans. If Steve is feeling like the Chiefs are going to be irrelevant the next several years, perhaps he's looking for a change of scenery? Maybe he can come take over for Saleh this next season?

  11. I love the leader Saleh was for us this year. But I think we need find a coordinator who can scheme up pressure without Bosa and we gotta get out of that wide 9 alignment on running downs it never covers the center he is always allowed to double team and climb up to backers. We also set in zone coverage too much and never dictated to the offense where we want the ball to go

  12. The poaching is unreal. Need someone who cant or wont be a head coach but be an excellent DC like Spags. This doesn't build anything. This one and done crap. Happy for Saleh but will be more happy when we can have continuity.

  13. Saleh showing a major lack of IQ here – the titans org is trash. Cam Ward is FAR from a sure thing. The GM is a joke and the owner is clueless. This is Jets 2.0 for him and he’ll regret it.
