I’m willing to give Saleh a pass on his shortcomings in New York. I think he has the potential to be a good hire. Of course, the humor isn’t lost on me that we fired Vrabel to fuck around and fail only to circle back to a coach strikingly similar to Vrabel.

I wanna hedge this by saying there are far too many variables for me to claim they will have similar success, but I will say that Robert Saleh as a coach seems very close to Vrabel in terms of culture and morale

I hope he does well here but I doubt he is the catalyst that will move us from bottom feeders to competitive again.

Plenty of loser coaches had good locker room presence, but you know what’s even better?
Having a single winning season in 4 years, with an excellent roster that at 2 points had Darnold, then later Rodgers.
Says a lot, coming from offensive players.

I’m not gonna set my expectations on the roof or anything, I’ll wait to see what we put on the field but I can’t help but feel a little excited about this. To be fair, I had hope when we hired Callahan too so take that for what it’s worth (probably nothing). I just hope he can put people in place to make us competitive and help Cam develop like we all think he can. TTFU
