Man the Marlins really like our scraps for some reason. First Quantrill now Blalock.
Who are we gonna replace him with???
The player the Rockies receive is RHP Jake Brooks. He spent last season in High-A Beloit and Double-A Pensacola. Not a huge strikeout guy but excellent command and low walk rates. Doesn’t give up much hard contact. Had an excellent 2024 in Low-A Jupiter.
I’m shocked we got any kind of value out if someone was bad as Blalock. Front office is cooking convincing the Marlins to give us a younger player for this dude
Yeah, there’s too many MLB teams when a deal like this is made. You could soft-toss the ball up there and get the same results Blalock has.
