I think he’s on a 5-year $197 mil contract, that runs until 27/28. I know the contract has some incentives but nah, I don’t think he’s worth it. That’s a lot of money for someone who can’t stay healthy. Out of around 500 games possible for his NBA career, he’s missed somewhere around 280. 😬
Zion is not reliable, for every 5 games he play he miss 10-15 games. We don't need a player that will produce and also miss games we need reliable bodies for a young core. Trying to build team chemistry with injury prone players is insanity to me. He has missed more games than he has played, skill set is only good as much as the player is available. Folks see a Superstar, but don't understand the importance of building team chemistry with a young roster and we not going to be able to do that as much as Zion is hurt.
