Sheppard might as well be the big bro in that picture. Durant was playing passive and unfocused for stretches tonight. Reed will obviously not be this good every game but he never takes a play off. He never lacks effort or focus. Amen brings it like that too. Durant does the Stroud thing at times where you can see him giving up and losing confidence. Sengun generally brings effort too but he’s an emotional rollercoaster almost Doncic like at times. He also has mental lapses on both ends that offset some of the amazing things he does offensively. He’s not consistent enough mentally yet. He’ll get there eventually.

Dominant performances against Nuggets, Spurs, Warriors. When we need Reed in big games, he shows up. That’s very impressive for a 2nd year guy

He’s happy with Reed and said he’s going to start expecting this from him more. He said he believes he can be this all the time, not 21pts every night but he can be that guy who can come in and change the game.
Sounds like he’s happy with him but sending him a challenge as a mentor, nothing negative. Said he has faith in him too from the sounds of it

Going forward , Reed has to be involved. Or fire Ime. Figure out how to hide his defense and let the boy cook 🔥
