I have also shown interest in Freddy Peralta
I had a fever dream that AJ signed Valdez to a Pivetta like contract (low $$ first year, opt out after year 2/3) but more money obviously AND traded Peralta moving Musgrove to the 5 spot. It was pretty wild.
Also worth mentioning that last week on PHT, Craig surmised that the only way AJ trades for a year of Peralta is if he is not planning on returning as GM. I guess he has just historically never made those types of rental trades for SP. So I guess that could be a silver lining if we don’t get him.
I firmly believe all the rumors about the Dodgers showing interest in Peralta is just them driving up the price for Preller.
Who in the hell do we even have to trade anymore? Like seriously.
