2. There are good players from the farm that left too: seager, belli, Buehler before TJ. Plus I would count max Muncy a farm hand since he was basically in AAA all of 2017 and almost out of the league.

3. Also I would say the dodgers system is a little inflated but during injuries if they can call up dudes that are at worst “replacement level” that’s still a solid minor league system. Look at teams that barely missed the playoff due to injuries.

4. No team is regularly producing HOFers out of their farm system so that's a terrible way to rate a farm system. The Dodgers are consistently producing average to above average players. The prospects they trade are way more likely to make it to the majors and stay around even if they aren't all stars. Most teams can't say the same about their prospects.

14. Think about this. For some odd reason the Brewers are proud of spending below average. Imagine if they would have spent 20-30 million more for another pitcher. They arguably could have gone to the world series last year. Everyone is mad at the Dodgers but I'd be pissed if I were a Brewers fan.

24. The issue about the angle of them not spending for Peralta (Dodgers) is that a farm system can stay more loaded up when you buy free agents to cover your needs every offseason. Other teams need to pull from their farms more often to get things. It absolutely is still tied to spending (though I get the angle Trev was discussing)
