Imagine the conversations these two will have.

  1. This is a crazy pair. I think McDaniel must be trying to better himself leadership-wise. Who better than Harbaugh?

  2. I’m curious what the conversation was today and if their weirdness just clicked because it seemed like he had other interviews planned too

  3. Harbaugh: “Mike, I gotta tell ya. Herbert’s arm is as though God himself was imparting a field with his might. Who could possibly have it better than him?”

McDaniel: (Vape hit). “Mhm. Yeah. Herbert is God.

  4. The balance is actually perfect. Jim can bring Mike into the realm of true team building and leadership, and Mike can bring Jim out of the stone age and introduce him to modern football offensive concepts.

  5. Really can’t believe it happened. Goes to show truly how few teams/coaches actually have their shit together. I’m sure he turned down money in favor of a quality of experience. Though I’m sure his wife was like “babe you’ll have less to do and the weather is nice”

  6. My only fear is that he comes in, has some great success, and moves on in a year or two. I’d love to see him commit to Harbaugh and Herbert. He’s young; he’ll get another shot. This group has the opportunity for greatness.

I was so disheartened after that playoff loss, but for the first time since the 3-0 start of the season I am actually optimistic.

If they get some IOL and a WR or two this could be a Super Bowl team next season, provided everyone can stay healthy.

  7. Ngl, thats the one thing I worry about. The fit between McDaniel and Jim and Herbert… but we ball… lfg
