I wouldn’t necessarily do this draft. I’m really just posting it because of how it shaped up, but it was hard to pass on Chris Bell & Delp

I’m fine with taking Love at 8 because Downs was not there. But ideally I’d want a defensive player in the 1st three rounds

  3. I wouldn’t mind taking him in the 2nd round but I feel like we need WR help on day 1 of training camp. Not sure if we can wait.

  4. I like this if Bells medicals are ok, would give our offense a jolt for sure. The ACL was very recent. We have seen had a few rookies miss their first year and never really take off, so it is important to be healthy from the jump. Kicker at 188 isn’t really needed … a punter maybe 😂

  7. We have an all pro WR as our WR1. Unless we are moving on from Olave, I agree we don’t need to take WR in the top ten. You probably don’t wanna draft a WR top ten to make him your WR3, especially when we have a guy like Palmer even if Polk doesn’t live up to his draft position (which hopefully he will with the change of scenery). 

    Despite people clamoring about positional value, Love could very well be the best player available, at a position of need. We historically have had a RB succession plan with Kamara and Ingraham. Maybe we can get a new boom and zoom and send Kamara off with a bang. A legit 3 down back who can catch, run, and threaten a TD or large gain off small holes could be just what we need to bring the offense to the next level. I’d like to pair that with a beefed up o line (particularly in the interior) and a blocking TE who can also catch, enabling full on disguises. Maximum stress on defenses through the air, on the ground, make em wonder “How do we defend against this?!” Pair that with our top ten graded defense and I think we could very quickly become very dangerous 

  12. I really want that RT Mauga from Miami to help bolster the oline. Shough took too many hits and we really can’t have him getting hurt. Also of all the remaining starting RBs on the playoff teams three of them were second rounders and one of them was a 5th rounder (kyren Williams) so I don’t think it’s totallly necessary to find our starting RB in the 1st round. Kamara was a 3rd round pick.

  14. If Downs is there I’m taking him. Also bell has a torn ACL. Should we go after Sarratt instead?

  15. I’m never a fan of rb top 10. I feel like the pick the should be Bain Bailey Tyson lemon or downs.

    As for round 2 hopefully bells medical comes back but he’s a stud. I like him or Elijah sarratt as round 2 big recievers.

  16. If you really wanted to make Shough feel happy, I think trading back to the mid 1st and drafting an OG would’ve been better than Love.

  17. Chris Bell could be an absolute gamebreaker for the Saints. I’m not saying this as a Louisville fan (which I am) – but from a talent standpoint, Chris could be awesome (as long as he rehabs his injury properly).
