CHAOS: New Orleans Saints’ Kellen Moore Hire SAVED Franchise From Potential NFL Coaching Disaster
The New Orleans Saints expertly avoided the chaos of the 2026 NFL head coaching carousel, locking in Kellen Moore at the perfect moment and sidestepping fierce competition from playoff contenders like the Bills and Steelers. Uncovering how Moore’s 2025 arrival may shape the Saints’ future and why a stopgap solution would have been risky.
Key free agent targets including Buffalo’s David Edwards, Houston’s Ed Ingram, and Pitsburgh’s Isaac Seumalo ignite conversation on how to fix the Saints’ struggling interior offensive line. Brandon Staley’s history with high-impact edge rushers—namely Khalil Mack and Samson Ebukam—opens up possibilities for boosting defensive power. Why Odafe Oweh culd be a strong, less familiar, addition.
Plus, the Saints’ strong presence at the Senior Bowl and Shrine Bowl gives them an early start to NFL Draft scouting.

Who Dat
Keep Cam, draft DE/edge, keep DD, developed young LBs, keep Alonte AND draft Caleb Downs, trade Justin Reid. Trade Ruiz, sign a RG FA, sign a LG FA and draft a G. Draft WR, RB and TE.
We need free agent guard Tevin Jenkins from Cleveland..he transitioned smoothly from tackle and he’s nasty
Rosss
Thanks for the updates Ross!
What are your thoughts on vera-tucker?
Feels like the need for o-line across the league is greatly exceeding the supply of starters. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a run on them and the top guys get much bigger contracts than previously expected.
Hi Ross, do you think is possible a trade for the OL with LAC for Becton? He was one of the worst ranked guards in the league last season but was pretty good under Moore's Offense.
I say we still have to see if we've found our coach or coaches. At the beginning of the season it looked really bad being 1-8 and the second half we looked better and I say it's because of shough and we have to see how it all goes from game one next season
Why would Edwards desire to depart from Buffalo on a playoff team with top 5 QB. Would be paying a G 20 million to get and not grea T value. Answer first 2 draft picks superior OL both OT 1. Miami. Move Mr F G. 2. OT convert to G
Id love the Saints to draft Mark Fletcher Jr from miami
I've been saying Tyler algeier since the begining of the season. He came from BYU . Guy is a secret starter.. I love kenth walker also!
Ross how bout joey bosa… Man him and chase young
Thank you Ross mentioning Algier. I've been mentioning him to fellow Saints fans once I found out he was available. He could be the bruising back that we have really missed.
