So far Accomplished 2 Things for our Chargers Master Plan ⚡️😎

  1. I love Pickens as a player and his talent but would his personality fit the locker room?

  2. Not a bad list dude. If we can resign minter, sign that C, and get Pickens. We would be a major super bowl threat.. especially if the oline stays healthy and performs

  3. No idea why we would want Pickens. We have solid WRs that just needs to develop our have a functional scheme. Plus Pickens is a locker room cancer who, while obviously one of the more talented WRs in the league, will disappear for games or weeks because he can’t keep his mental straight.

Plus he’s gonna want crazy money. Let’s spend that elsewhere.

  4. We have way too many weapons to pay a top of market deal to WR1 imo but this is a nice list!

  5. I love this list! 💗

Absolutely, sign Pickens. A true WR1 and Ladd would be unstoppable against the elite defense like Houston and Denver. They can’t guard both of them because we can’t count on QJ and we don’t know what we got in Harris yet.

  6. Not sure on George Pickens but I just have this gut feeling the Chargers will trade for AJ Brown

  7. Hard pass on Pickens. I’d love it if we drafted Pregnon out of Oregon for a Guard spot and picked up a good C via trade or FA. Drafting a twitchy DE is probably a good idea as well due to Mack being old and not sure if he’d come back.

  8. Pickens would be a luxury signing honestly. Beef up the lines and pay our guys on defense. We have good WRs already that are gonna cook under McDaniel

  9. I wouldn’t even have pickens on the list. Moody malcontents not welcome here.

Cook with the youngins on the roster and Linderbaum is the key FA to sign

  10. Lowkey would rather us spend money in free agency beefing up the lines and then draft a WR in the 1st or 2nd

  11. Maybe a hot take, but Zion does not deserve to stay. We need 3 brand new Interior O linemen

  12. I don’t think Pickens would fit our team. I do think we got a solid wr core that McDaniel could unlock even further, even if it means giving up Keenan

  13. I’d rather take Alec Pierce over Pickens and draft an another WR with the middle part of the draft. Would probably fit well with McDaniel’s offense too.

  14. We also need to extend Henley and Tui don’t we?

Between those extensions and Derwin, re-signing Oweh, Tart, Zion, and Mack, how much money would we have left?

Linderbaum and Alec Pierce are my main FA targets. If we re-sign Zion and draft Ioane, we could probably cut Becton to save some money. There have to be back up guards on the market that would be a fraction of the cost and come with far better production than Becton.

  15. Alec pierce > Pickens. Would fit McDaniel’s scheme better. We need speed and a physical WR to stretch the field.

  16. Pickens is insanely talented and as far as what we need at WR fits like a glove, but he is SUCH a headcase idk if I want to deal with that. Especially if we are going to have to pay him boatloads of money, which would only make him crazier lol.

But I agree that we need a true X receiver.

  17. I think Oweh will go. He’s going to be seriously expensive for a pass rush only player. If I’m paying 20M I want someone for all downs

  18. Not a bad list but I actually don’t think making Herbert MVP is a great sign. I want a solid team (defense is great, ST needs a lot of work, offense – well we all know). Herb being MVP would almost signal that he’s carrying more than he should be – I want him to do great but I also just want more balance!

  19. I’d rather not sign Pickens. He’s one of my favorite players in the league but I don’t want the penalties that come with him. He’s fun to watch but keep him off my team

  20. Pickens is super talented but has a bad attitude. I wouldn’t complain at all if they signed him though (Harbaugh could 100% get him to buy in).

Alec Pierce on the other hand would be a perfect fit. Sure hands, fast as shit and super physical. Amazing blocker too. Total Harbaugh-esque player and McDaniel would feast with him as our #1.
