I may be in the minority but what is wrong with an owner saying he might be wrong. They are wrong more then 50% of the time and this was definitely a controversial firing. It’s very possible he will end up wrong but it’s swing for the fences if your goal is to win a super bowl.
I dont know why his answer is so bad? Its a human answer. Basically, we’ve been so close, I have 2 options here, and either one is going to hurt.
He even said, maybe it’ll be the wrong one.
If they go and win a Superbowl next year, you can replay all these reactions and go , oh.
We never let things play out as fans. Always hypotheticals
