Mayfield felt the run-heavy, three-tight end scheme didn’t play to his strengths, and Stefanski wasn’t calling enough of the play-action bootlegs that Mayfield excelled at last season. The discord escalated to the point where Mayfield at times would’ve preferred offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt call the plays. But Stefanski kept the responsibility, and Mayfield grew increasingly frustrated.

  2. As long as Prime wants to be here and Shadeur isn't tired of him I'm all for it. I think guys would love to play for Prime and what better level to do it on! All we need is to get the best out of all these guys and to identify the right weapons for the right spots! Let's build an upgraded O line, get a few receivers, a legit run game, and keep the D intact! Put Prime on the sideline and we have something cooking! Even if we don't get Prime the package is still all we need and maybe some depth all around, then get us in here a no nonsense coach & staff! Stop playing wit us man…nobody bout to keep buying season tickets for all this ol bullsht! Bring in some winners dammit!

  13. It will never happen. I would say no way no shape no form. The browns owner is starting to be a total joke. And I don’t think that they should not have a OC has a head coach. Maybe he would last one season.

  18. Horrible idea if Shedeur fails will he be able to bench him and all through college he never provided his own son with a running game or any type of offensive line

  20. This is so predictable. Haslam would make so much money from this, even if it fails he gets paid from the potential circus. Cleveland deserves better than this.

Kevin Stefanski had nothing to do with Baker getting tossed out like a piece of trash it was crooked Jimmy and his evil minions that caused all that BS — Baker Mayfield was the only QB that left Cleveland and was successful all the other ones are in the QB graveyard RIP…hell Stefanski didn't even say ty or goodbye to Cleveland or the fan base I can understand why but Baker wanted a phone call from Kevin and not getting one sounds childish that should be behind him
