  1. Where did we get that Yordan need to DH to stay healthy. He got injured as a hitter, running the bases sliding and hand issues hitting. He can play at least half his AB on left. Maybe him sitting all the time and then hitting ant running while cold is what get him hurt.

  2. Charlie Pallilo is the poor man’s Brett Chancey. Paredes is a better player than Duran and Abreu. What craziness are you spewing that Paredes won’t get us either player on their own? Come on with this foolishness…

  3. I don’t think Dana is stupid enough to do any one for one trades with Parades. Unless Parades nets us a positive plus bat and more, it shouldn’t be done. Dana has earned my trust. He’s done a good job the last two years.

  4. I’d rather them pay someone 20 mil to take Walker than come off Parades. I don’t get why they don’t do inf utility player by committee till one of these guys inevitably gets hurt. Think Correa could easily play a lil 2nd, Parades a lil 1B and Altuve a lil LF.

  5. I’ve been preaching this trade the whole offseason.

Issac Paredes, Christian Walker, Bryan Abreu, minor leaguer and if you have to, Spencer Arrighetti or a righty pitching prospect

    For

Jarren Duran, Triston Casas, Connelly Early, Payton Tolle

The reason this works so well is the bat positioning. Red Sox are flooded with lefties. We have too many righty’s. We send them a bunch of righty’s. They get some lefties. They’re ready to move on from Casas. We’re ready to move on from Walker. They need more veterans for their very young squad. It’s a PERFECT scenario, it makes sense, and it’s a perfectly fair trade. I feel like it’s fair even without adding Arrighetti, but for a package like this, it’s worth it.
