Wild situation in BUF. Would you take a shot on him with a late round pick?

Was gonna post this too. I say why not? I’m sick of the culture of old where we don’t get Louisiana guys. Louisianans are some of the most prideful people in the country, I feel like having hometown guys on the Saints would do wonders for both them and team chemistry
How much are you committing to a headcase who can’t get to meetings on time? I’d pass personally.
If he isn’t going to act right in Buffalo what makes you think he’s gonna act right in Nola
he fucking sucks dude
Hard no. Not interested
Vele is better
We already have a decent amount of reclamation talent to fill depth in the receiver room
I’d honestly prefer we resign olave, then sign a vet like Keenan Allen, DeAndre Hopkins, or (if he fits the cap) Mike evans. Give us a sure-handed receiver opposite olave that can attack the ball in the air and help out shough in gotta have it situations.
Otherwise there’s also the guys with 5-6 years experience available this offseason like Jauan Jennings and Hollywood Brown. Don’t think we’ll be in on Deebo, but those other two names could be 3 year deals instead of 1/2 year short-term solutions from above.
Either way we have the draft capital to take a swing, especially in the 2nd/3rd where there’s some decent value this year. I’d rather save that and get a guy that can grow alongside Shough (even if they’re not a receiver) vs sending it to the Bills for a gigantic question mark.
They turned to Cooks over Coleman so quick it’s also hard to feel like he’s even an upgrade here once Vele is back 😅
Absolutely not I always thought it was bonkers that the Bills took him and that he was such a highly rated prospect. He’s a glorified N’keal Harry.
One of the slower WRs in the league so he’ll never get any separation yet all the physical bullying he was able to do to small ACC corners didn’t translate at all to the pros. He’s a net negative to an offense when you combine the drops, lack of gravity for safety help, and locker room issues.
Wot no the point is the dude sucks and so does the owner.
Certainly went nuclear ☢️ could be comeback player of the year if he can recover from that burial!
He’s not good. He only played in the divisional game because Tyrell Shavers tore his ACL.
We don’t need to waste resources just because he’s from Louisiana.
Disregarding any attitude concerns he’s a bad player, so there’s no reason to bring him in
Why? Absolutely no.
He fucking sucks. When will the NFL learn to stop overdrafting jump ball specialists who get no separation.
Hard pass, we’ve already taken a cheap swing on an overdrafted WR bust in Polk, no need to double down.
No. I’m not trading to fix someone who has never shown he belongs.
HELLA NA
The only thing we need less than a project OL is a project WR.
In the Bills first playoff game vs the Jaguars this year, their WR3 Tyrell Shavers tore his ACL in the first half, yet played through the remainder of the game, to the tune of a 54% snap share. (right in line with the 53.5% snap share he averaged weeks 11-17 before sitting week 18 with the rest of the offense)
Coleman stayed at 43% in that Jaguars playoff game, seeing only one target all game before seeing a 0% snap share for their playoff loss vs the Broncos, a game Shavers (and other receivers Palmer and Gabe Davis) all missed.
With their season on the line, and as we’ve seen, the coaching staff’s jobs on the line as well, they turned to Mecole Hardman, who they’d cut only 3 weeks prior, over Keon Coleman 😅
I’d rather sign Hollywood Brown or Calvin Austin for cheap
