Mel Kiper Jr. on Jeremiyah Love’s fit with the Kansas City Chiefs:
The Chiefs make their first pick in the top 10 since they took Patrick Mahomes at No. 10 in 2017 and promptly use the selection to get a game-changing running back to pair with their star quarterback? Improving the run game could open up the offense in a big way. Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt are both free agents. It’s time to inject some juice into this ground attack. Ignoring positional value, Love is the second-best prospect on my Big Board. Vision. Burst. Power. Speed. Receiving skills. He has it all, and he ran for 1,372 yards and 18 touchdowns this past season.

  3. Noooo… So Fcking stupid . The Chiefs will never take a RB @9… Caleb Downs is the pick if he's there or they'll trade back to acquire more picks… It's stupid takes like this that make taking this channel seriously Impossible

  4. The Chiefs can get a good RB in the 3rd or 4th round it would be insane to pick a RB at #9
The Chiefs HAVE to go DL(edge preferred) and OL(RT) in rounds 1 & 2
There are at least 5 OT ranked between 50 & 60 would should be able to come right in and play. So, picking at 40, they should
be able to get a good one. So, that leaves a DL in round 1 / The alternative is to trade back to around 20 and pick up an early 2nd and 3rd. There are still some
good DL at 20 and that would allow the Chiefs to pick up two more at positions of need.
