  1. To paraphrase from Ralph Fiennes’ M from Skyfall, “Good luck, ~~007~~ Coach Bienemy. Don’t cock it up.”

  2. Good. Now get a restraining order on Nagy so he can’t enter the facilities ever again.

  3. I hope it works. I have some serious concerns.

I wonder if Andy realizes, despite all his success, that such a small move will almost certainly mean he’s gone after the season if we see more of the same uninspired offense next season?

Mind you it’s not just that they are bringing EB back, but the speed with which it happened once EB was available makes it clear this was all but the *only plan.*

  4. Nobody else is talking about it, but seeing Bienemy with gray hair is crazy. I remember when his hair was black

  5. I do not understand why there are so many people against this on this sub.

Pat got two MVPs under Bienemy. Our offense has been on the decline *since the guy left the building*. He spent a year in the running back room with the Bears and Ben Johnson, who happens to be another notoriously hard to please coach who loves running the ball, and their run game this year was the best part of the team besides Caleb Williams magic moments and their rookie TE. Our running game has been bottom of the league two years in a row.

Like, have a little faith. How quickly some of you seem to forget that we made a Super Bowl *less than a year ago*. I know it was a terrible game, but do you realize how so many fans of other teams would probably kill to make it to *ONE* in their lifetime

  6. Did we ever even announce Nagy was gone? Or were we just hoping for him to get the titans job beforehand to save face?

  7. Fuck me. We’re officially in the “well I don’t expect it to be great but at least he can make it good” phase. Fuck that. I want and expect great. Mahomes is at the very least great if not the greatest and I want the organisation to aim for the same. I don’t need McDaniel but I need something after QB1 says he wants something new.

  8. Have they officially fired Nagy at this point or he basically just on an island since his contract was up.

  9. I really can’t be mad about this. There’s such a direct correlation between him leaving and the offense falling off a cliff.

  10. Look man things were rolling with EB, they stalled with Nagy. Despite the super bowls. Let’s see how it looks. Run it back, maybe Kelce stays he rides into the sunset and they make a corny movie about it.

  11. In the middle of the war, where my enemy at? I’m runnin this bitch like Eric Bieniemy back

  12. Sooo Im guessing he’s back in KC because he was just too good as a OC in Washington and at UCLA huh? Guess we’re just lucky that way…….

  13. I’m way more excited about the new WR coach. I’m not a fan of these Andy Reid retread coaches. But I guess there was absolutely no chance Andy was going to hire a true OC that he hasn’t worked with before to insert some fresh new ideas into the offense. I see a lot of Chiefs Kingdom is really excited about bringing him back. I do think it’s an upgrade over Nagy and I do think EB will hold players accountable and be that old school chew your ass coach and maybe that is exactly what has been missing for the last 2 years. But I believe Andy’s scheme is stale and he has gone away from adapting his scheme to fit the players strengths and for some reason it appears he has tried to force the players into his scheme even if it means not utilizing their strengths.

The last few years it has been hard for me to see him at the podium saying “it’s the coaches job to put players in the best position to win” all while he is not utilizing his players strengths. It’s like he trots force a square peg in a round hole. Like when they went out and traded for D-Hop and he his strengths were never used, he was still great in the red zone and 50/50 balls, but we never saw him in a position to use those skills. That is just one example of dozens over the last few years.

  14. WE BACK BABY. 5K passing hard season loading. AND accountability on all these dumb as penalties. I’m on the hype 🚂
