7. That’s all well and good, but quite often the “consensus best player” doesn’t end up being the best player from that draft. I remember 11 years ago, we drafted Leonard Williams, who was the consensus best player that year. He was decent, but not the best player from that year by a long shot (though he’s doing quite well now).
