Serious question: Is it normal for baseball players to be working out at their stadiums in the off-season or is this a baseball manga main character thing?
Looks like a three peat in progress
Dude lives there lol
They’re going to 3Peat. Everyone seems locked in already.
Psssshhhhh more like standing around doing nothing amirite
For those wondering about Ohtani and why he basically lives on the field and asking if it’s normal, he’s a “*yakyū shōnen*” known as a “baseball boy” in japan —a kid who lives, eats and breathes baseball. Ichiro is a good example of that. Not all Japanese players are like that for example: Yamamoto and Hideki Matsui, you can still be the best but the yakyu shonen love baseball and take it very serious.
I don’t believe those rumors about Kyle being not motivated but him seeing a 4-time unanimous MVP, arguably the greatest baseball player of all time put in the work in the middle of the off season, will at least give him a motivational boost.
Are they showing the presser live anywhere?
all work no play for the goat. Meanwhile yamamoto been doing nothing all off season /s
Ohtani’s work ethic is unparalleled…he is the GOAT.
Okay – I was picking out my season ticket seats in right field and we found two baseballs that looked like they had been launched- what chance do you think the are Ohtani BP dinger balls?
This is what champions do while others are still on vaca…
He already got NLCS MVP last year, probably got WS MVP on his mind for this year.
STUPID SEXY SHOHEI
You know this guy will create another insane stat for this year.
Walks 5 or 6 steps and grabs his back- that looks like my workouts
Ohtani pretty much works out at Dodger stadium during the offseason. likely 6 days a week.
Need a longer video of him doing the drills please
Is that the 2026 unanimous NL MVP and soon to be 3-time WS champion??
He just wanna be left to do his thing
