Idk man… I appreciate the additional insight from someone who covered the Cardinals but we're talking about the Cardinals here who are a dumpster fire and dysfunctional from the top down. Petzing is gonna have a much better offensive tools here in Detroit and Dan is still gonna have input to help him try to get the most out of the Lions offense. We're not going to know whether or not this is a good hire until Sept/Oct so I'm not going to judge or over analyze what he did in AZ. Goff apparently was impressed by him as we were weighing OC options and to me that means more right now than a local reporters two cents with all due respect. Again though, appreciate the outside insight none the less – not trying to throw shade at Donnie who was a great interview.
