Yea falcons pass rush better than ours and they built their defense with all draft picks this year is pivotal for us to make the right moves or we not winning this division

McDonald would help the defense tremendously! During the wild card game against the Rams, they were constantly in 2nd and manageable and were able to comfortably control that game!

Idk bout Hendrickson, he's coming off a down yr, injury, and he's over 30yrs old, chasing a bag that he never got. I don't wanna get a guy who may be past his prime on a big contract. Rather get one of the guys that's on our timeline with upside.
Signing a fa edge specialist is a trap. Go BPA in the draft and the. Look at our positions of need in FA.

All I can say is defending XL is the epitome of this fanbase. This fanbase is full of “just go out there and have fun!” ass fans. Everyone needs to be reminded that being a fan doesn’t mean you have to support them unequivocally. Interestingly you mentioned college football. If you didn’t know, that was one of the reasons the NFL didn’t want to give this market a team – they assumed our market cares more about CFB than NFL. Seeing how our fanbase is, I’d say the NFL was right. I meet more hardcore Clemson, UNC, Duke, App State, etc fans than Panthers fans. The only Panthers fans I meet are like this guy, who just blindly supports and advocates for whatever the Panthers staff decides – despite year after year after year after year of failure. There’s plenty of examples at the pro and collegiate level of programs turning around within a season or two. Genuinely believing it takes years and years to build a competitive team is loser mentality, which this fanbase is full of. Anyways I’ll get off my soap box. I’m just giving you another perspective as a life long panthers fan who has witnessed both of our Super Bowl runs first hand. Just look at the patriots. Their fanbase DID NOT TOLERATE losing. Everyone talked shit about how “mean” or “unfair” the patriots were to their coaching staff in those few down years – well, now look. They are right back to the top of the pile. This shit isn’t smoke and mirrors. It isn’t luck or good vibes. There’s a very real formula for winning. And as a ball fan, it just doesn’t seem like the panthers fanbase cares enough to force ownership to do the right things.
