‘Love’ that Mike McDaniel was hired as Chargers OC, Rams vs. Seahawks ‘the real Super Bowl’? | FTF

The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks will face off in the NFC Championship, and both teams are juggernauts in their own way. Nick Wright, Chris Broussard, Kevin Wildes, and Danny Parkins ask if this is the “real” Super Bowl, meaning whoever wins this game will win the Super Bowl handedly. Plus, the Los Angeles Chargers hired Mike McDaniel as their new OC, and the crew discusses what this means for Justin Herbert. They also discuss the Buffalo Bills hitting a “playoff wall” according to their owner.

  1. Just for the sake of Nick and the rest in this group, I want to see the Patriots win the SB. I want to see that jealous and sickly face of Nick and Danny when that happens. It will be the cherry on top of what started last Feb with Chiefs defeat.

  2. I'm with Wildes on this one: End of half Hail Maries shouldn't count as interceptions. Just like end of half/quarter 3 pt tries from half court shouldn't count statistically, either. Individual stats exist to describe individuals. That is their entire purpose–to describe individual play. If they are misleading, they just introduce perverse incentives into the game and distort accurate appraisals. The fumble issue is more complicated because each fumble has a probability of 0.5 of being a turnover, and each interception has a probability of ~1.0 of being a turnover.

  3. I used to be ESPN only for many years since I was in HS im not 35….so many of my favorites left or let go and fox has the best talent by far ans this show I been watching for 2 years only gotten better!

  4. Part of the reason that Tua led the league in yards is because of Tyreek Hill. Another reason was because Mike McDaniel’s system was still not figured out. If Herbert had prime Tyreek Hill and Mike McDaniels before the league figured him out he would be putting up crazy numbers. Justin Herbert has thrown for 5k Yards.

  5. I NEVER FELT THE DENVER MULES WOULD WIN THE AFC WEST DIVISION. BUT THE CHARGERS SELF DESTRUCT AFTER THEY HAD HOUSTON AND THEN LET THEM GO. BUT NOW WITHOUT QB NIX I DON'T THINK THE MULES CAN BEAT MCDANIELS PATRIOTS…. YOU THINK THE LOUSY RAIDERS HAD A REAL QB AND LET HIM GO??? THE PATRIOTS SHOULD WIN EASY.

  6. They haven't said it, but Wildes is back worshipping at the altar to QB wins.

He said Drake couldn't play bad, then when he has a million mistakes, it's ok because they won. The other hosts should not have let him off of the hook after either game.

  7. STARTING WITH THE ODDS FAVORING THE PATRIOTS AT DENVER. STIDHAM WAS A PATRIOT QB. HE GOT CANNED. THE LOW LIFE RAIDERS ARE AFTER QB MENDOZA. THIS MEANS STIDHAM DIDN'T IMPRESS THE RAIDERS… SO EVERYTHING POINTS AT PATRIOTS WINNING IN DENVER. PLUS I ADD THE PERSONAL PAY BACK OF MCDANIELS AGAINST THE MULES FOR FIRING HIM AS THE HEAD COACH.

  8. Nick making the “real Super Bowl is in the conference championship round” mistake again…. Turned out that no the bills and chiefs weren’t the real sb and in the real SB the eagles were up 40-6 on nick’s Chiefs…. Most people learn from their mistakes but not Nick

  9. It's crazy that Danny is starting to become the most clear headed individual on the show… this McDaniel Herbert Harbaugh pairing is definitely the best hire since John Harbaugh went to giants. Year 3 of Jim Harbaugh as well, upcoming season.
