  1. Schwartz is going to be the guy. No other quality candidate is going to take this job without a qb. He is the definition of a bridge coach. Once they do get their qb… he is probably gone.

  2. If Andrew can abide by the Rooney rule, Grant Udinski should be the new HC….it's simply rinse, repeat if Schwartz is ultimately given the HC job….he's NOT a HC and Andrew Berry really wants one of these younger guys…..

  3. Schwartz was 29-51 as a head coach with Matthew Stafford and Megatron, the Browns don't have that kind of talent so I think it is going to be another losing season.

  4. The defense will take a step back if Schwartz is the HC because then as HC he time with the defense would be divided. He would be doing HC stuff with offense. With special teams, and with defense. He could not live and breathe defense all of the time. For the defense to stay the same he would need to land a defensive coordinator that would be as good as himself. He likely would promote someone from the current staff. But then who replaces that guy? All the way to the bottom rung of the ladder and a newly hired position coach. Each rung getting weaker than it was before along the way.
