  2. He was the undrafted player nobody wanted

He was the fringe NHL player that kept being sent back down to the AHL

    He was the Superstar

He was the Olympic Gold Medal Winner

He is a Hall of Famer

  3. While its more than likely 99% true, is anyone is expecting him to bitch about it’s coach to the media?? lol
Same as when they are asked how they like the city and crowd ”Best place and most awesome crowd to play hockey!”
Get traded to Detroit, how you like it? ”Best city and crowd in to wooooorld” …….

  4. MSL has been playing Slaf so much more lately, deservedly so. He’s using it a lot more at the end of games, and he’s had over 20 minutes of ice time a few times lately. He’s basically playing the most minutes behind Suzuki in the forward group lately.

He’s really won the coach’s trust. Such a good story

  5. St. Louis said numerous times that Slafkovsky’s best skill be being teachable.

Now Slafkovsky’s saying St. Louis is a great teacher.

    It’s simply a perfect match!

  6. Daddy St Louis 😩

I went to his hockey camp way back when, when he ran one in Burlington vermont, and this sounds crazy but Slafs words are 100% my experience. You just want to soak up the guys hockey knowledge and he makes you feel important.

  7. Thank God Marty was patient. He’s playing fantastic like I hoped he would be. Gohabsgo

  8. i forget if it was against Ottawa or Buffalo where MSL started double-shifting Slaf on both the first and second line to tie the game up late?

coach clearly sees him as one of his best weapons at this point

  9. Man, I cant imagine a circumstance where MSL ever gets fired. Feels like this is one of those scenarios where the job is his as long as he wants it.
