Not bad.
I mean, it’s not like the Mets can’t resign him after this season, they have the money.
Unlike the Cubs who sent talent out for one year of Kyle Tucker. Sure, Tucker’s good but why send out talent for just one year of Kyle?
The Cubs knew they weren’t going to pay him what it would take to sign him long term AND the Cubs were not just one player away.
Peralta is good, really good, and he’s young enough still too and the Mets can sign him long term (provided he handles the market and pitches well this coming season).
MLB sucks.
Do the 27 other teams in MLB know they can add players?

not familiar with these 2. looked them up. Bloat High era in minors and Major. Jett is a 90 ish ranked prospect. Just curious, i don’t see why Milwaukee couldn’t get better return.
I remember Giants trading Zack wheeler (their #2 ranked) for Beltran who signed with St Louis the year after. high price for a rental.
Can someone tell me why the Brewers don’t want to keep and extend Freddy? It’s not like they don’t need him.
