  1. I don’t even buy cable tv no more, so I consume every hockey show on YouTube, this episode once a week is tops of the list!!! Fucking love burkie!!! He’s my generations Pat Quinn!!! I mean I’m just a citizen but…. Ur okay to marek ya beauty

  2. THEN TAKE AWAY OFFSIDE REPLAYS. ALL IN OR ALL OUT. wHY CAN WE REVIEW A REFS BAD CALL ON THE BLUELINE WHICH TAKES A GOAL AWAY AND NOT FOR A NON PENALTY CALLED WHICH LEADS TO A PP GOAL OR 2 MINS PLAYING SHORT HANDED?

  3. "Played by human beings" LMAO You mean like Campbell threatening refs with emails so his son can win the cup? The NHL needs to try and pretend it's a professional league and get rid of this bush league hack shit. Get the corruption out and get the refs control over every game OUT!!!! If that means reviewing calls so be it.

  4. Yeah well newsflash Burky, back when you were in hockey the rules were way more lax. Head contact wasn't even punished back then and hockey was not as fast, skilled, and nuanced as it is today. That's how the league wants it, so guess what we get to criticize officials for horrible calls. You have this horrrible call against Montreal. You have the call in the Colorado game where the Caps player straight up knocks the sticks out of the goalies hands, then two strides later trips and falls on the stick laying on the ice and our goalie gets called for tripping. You have the goalie interference rule which literally nobody in the league understands.

If the league is going to institute these rules and crack down on them, we get to criticize them for when they butcher a call. Which by the way, happens far more frequently than you implied.
