  9. The was a big revamp. We overahieved in 2024 but injuries & off years caused ua a disappointing 2025.

    On paper look solid. The bullpem has more quality in its quantity instead of being top heavy. We look to be better defensively, more versatile & flexible, have more speed, a nice mix of veterans & younger players, and have more balanced in all major areas: rotation, bullpen, infield & outfield. I think they will be less reliant on the home run which we had been dependent on. This team could be more consistent & be a lengthy lineup from top to bottom. It can manufacture runs or still hit the homer. This has Stearns fingerprints all over it. Solid pitching, good defense, better overall team speed & a better balanced, more versatile team that also has more flexibility. There are a lot of professional hitters. I’m optimistic.

    I think there are two major factors that will determine our success. First is how the new guys mesh & gel. Chemistry matters. We have added some gritty professionals & savvy veteran leaders like Polanco & Bichette. Health is a major factor. How will guys like Manaea & Senga return from injury plagued 2025 seasons. Finally can toolsy players like Luis Robert Jr put it all together & have a break our year as projected as a former top prospect? Will our young players like Baty continue to develop & improve? Will young guys like Vientos return to form? Can Alvarez be a 30HR run producer as projected & stay healthy? If these things fall into place I feel like we can be a very good team & payoff contender.

    I’m very hopeful & optimistic. This team can definitely be a more balanced & consistent team. Let’s Go Mets!😁👍🫡🤘
