The New Orleans Saints doesn’t know football 🏈 You trade away your best wide receiver on offense. Now they have scramble to find someone to play just as good or better than Shaheed that’s a damn shame.

I would love to have him back, but… I lived up in Seattle. While it doesn't have New Orleans flavor, it's easy to feel like you could retire or live there forever. They 12th man there is VERY passionate about their football! Even I got caught up in the hype while living there! All that to say… Sheed ain't coming back if they offer him a contract.

Olave has been so much better without shaheed, because Olave is naturally a deep threat. When you exclusively use your speed guy (shaheed) for deep balls, Olave was insanely limited, and injury prone because you’re throwing Olave balls over the middle… just asking for him to get wrecked.
The answer has and will always be a big body 50/50 ball receiver (Mike Thomas prototype). That’s why we saw so much success with Vele.
I love shaheed, one of my favorite players, but we shouldn’t look to pay him and Olave. We need another young star receiver on a rookie deal.

I don't know, my guy, Shaheed is not that good of a Wide Reciever. I mean we had him in the building and the coaching staff didn't have that high of an opinion of his WR skills, yes an ELITE Kickoff and punt returner but we need more of a big body, contested catch yac yards guy. It's not hard to find a kick off retrn/punt return guy… Shaheed just ain't got that dawg in him.
It’s all up to Sheed. I mean he likely has some roots in New Orleans. And New Orleans has a role for him more than kick return. So Sheed has got to balance career earnings and happiness with his role. Get the Chip with Seattle now and then Cole back to New Orleans and help us get a Chip. Plus, Olave may not return if he is on life long blood thinners for his blood clot. Loomis should make a solid offer to Sheed.
Imo his route running wasnt top tier we need a fast player who can run the whole route tree
