I wonder what a trade package would've looked like? I'm guessing we'd have kept Kawhi and centered the trade around PG. This feels like when Kobe almost left the Lakers to come here before Jerry West talked him out of it. Insane "what if".

A LeBron and Kawhi duo would’ve complemented each other better than Kawhi + PG.
But let’s be honest there’s no chance both could have stayed healthy come April.
Just watched a youtube video about Jeanie/Laker and Jerry beef.
Really sad to see the Buss family implode after dad died, and then treat all time legends like they did.
Magic was smart to distance himself when he did, or else he may have also felt a similar treatment.
I now hate the Lakers less, I get how messy it was and how a family operated gig could implode.
Also very happy that Clippers were able to respect Mr West, especially in his final chapter.

Remember when people doubted Pingalord because he said the Lakers were more likely to trade LeBron if they did anything (they didn’t do anything) but sounds like Pingalord was hearing from the right people.
God, the Buss family has been blessed with Lebron James. They’d still be climbing out of the gutters of the Magic debacle. Lebron saved their franchise.
