  1. not too long ago I was being downvoted into oblivion for telling everyone to remain patient and trust Stearns. Everyone was so sure he had to go and he was ruining the team, the FIRE DAVID STEARNS gif spammed on every ig post… y’all are all whiny babys

  2. NOOOOOOO HE TRADED ALONSO AND LET NIMMO WALK IN FREE AGENCY AND ASKED DIAZ TO SIGN WITH THE DODGERS WE WILL JAVE NO NAMES ON THE FIELD AMD BOT GENIUS STWARNS WILL DUMPSTWR DIVE SO COHEN CAN OPEN CASINO THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT RHE METS NOOOOOOOOO REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  3. the mets jettisoned a losing core and avoided running it back again with the same group except even more expensive and now have a more or less complete team with new faces. i have more hope with this roster than the theoretical roster that resigned alonso, diaz, kept nimmo, mcneil, et cetera.

  4. Y’all still want to kill this guy and then everyone else, or you forget about all that righteous fury?

  5. Losing Pete still stings. But I, for one, never doubted that the club would reload in some substantial way. Mainly my feeling is a desperate need for actual baseball games. January sucks!

  6. I’m still sad Alonso couldn’t be part of this rebuild, and we don’t know how any of this will pan out next season, but on just optics our team has a lot more clutch hitting on it, players known to be clubhouse guys, and barely any money committed 3 years from now. Seems like a recipe for a much more consistent and driven team but we shall see.
