  1. As someone that defends Dan, Dan add me to the list of people telling you to shut up.
Mike has a better record than Sean Payton. look it up. (Albert Breer just did a segment on it)

Steelers need a leader in the coaching position. That’s what the owner expressed. They also need a qb and a coach capable of developing a qb. The news are not in this draft. McCarthy can sign a 4-5 year deal and hand over a franchise quarterback. If that’s the worst case scenario they’re way better than they’ve been in 7 years. And yes, Aaron is what the players want, they’re attached. After just losing their father now you want them to lose their stepfather that they just fell in love with. At this point the players won’t want to learn a new qb again, not after working with Aaron. It’s the first year they had someone to learn from (that’s what the locker room has said), they don’t want to keep switching. You’re ignorant or unaware of how the organization feels about Aaron.

The only other option is to blow it all up with a new coach and wipe the roster.
Then what happens to the Steeler history? Who passes the player lead team culture down? What it means to be a Steeler? The Rooneys are decent people and it’s probably the only decent organization left. Teams are about people. Do you guys get that? Your personal feelings isn’t news it’s The View. Use better adjectives. Too many feeling words Dan, and hand gestures are excess. What you say has consequences. Own that.

  2. Keeping Rodgers is a laughably bad choice that Tomlin should have never made to begin with. But….If the Steelers think they have their next Big Ben in Will Howard hiring McCarthy could be a great idea. Here's an offensive minded coach with Pittsburgh roots who very clearly understands the offense and has won a super bowl. He's a much better coach than Tomlin. The Steelers are cheap and they could get a head coach/offensive coordinator/quarterback coach all wrapped up in one person. The Steelers need to break this fixation they have had on the defense forever and McCarthy could do that although poor Rooney will not have his head coach for the next 15 years.

  3. We need to start over and start looking for our next franchise QB. I highly doubt the Steelers are going to hire one of these old guys. They are going to go younger at HC. Flores or Shula. The fact they haven't hired someone yet to me means they are targeting someone still in the playoffs.

  4. Someone needs to call BS on the Steelers and the narrative that they can’t draft high enough to pick a QB. They passed on Dart and he’s going to turn out to make a lot of teams deeply regret passing on him. Harmon is an excellent player but he’s not QB. Steelers had tunnel. Is ion on Roger’s from day1 and that should put the GM on the hot seat

  5. John Harbaugh didn’t build the ravens . He coached the ravens . Ozzie was in charge till he retired and obviously he still wasn’t in charge in Baltimore . 1 Super Bowl in 18!years is not Vince Lombardi !!!!
Btw where are all the Harbaugh coaching tree coaches ??? None

  6. Tyler shough, shedeur and Jalen milroe all were on the board when the Steelers picked. They drafted Derrick Harmon as a d lineman. Not saying he’s not good but the qb issues they have are only the front offices fault. Winning record or not many teams have stayed competitive while also drafting well without high lottery picks

  7. I always love Dan Orloski making these points that don’t even make sense! Not a Steelers fan here, but I would much rather have Rogers for one year and draft his replacement and have him learn some things from a veteran quarterback over throwing them to the wolves with a shitty draft, they have this year. The worst place they could be is they could be just like Dan Orloski’s Owen and 16 lions.

  8. God these legacy media shows are so formulaic and robotic. It’s all the same slop format presented to you by made-up clowns reading from a screen with huge egos.

  9. It's incredible how everyone asks, what is Pittsburgh going to do about a quarterback? Why does (almost) everyone ignore Will Howard? He won a national championship for crying out loud!! I'm from western pa and I want Will to at least get a year to prove himself one way or the other

  10. As a Ravens fan Dan O actually right Steelers should tank for a year and get the number one pick yeah they will suck bad but at least they have a young future star at QB

  11. If rubber salad(bob salah) and stefanski can jobs after their great stints, anybody w connections can get a one. I'm thinking of becoming a janitor in ATL now to be next in line for the job. The Jets aren't hiring at they moment so they're my 2nd pick 😊.

  12. If Aiyuk is out than the perfect fit is steelers the problem with the Steelers is not the coach it’s rodgers every steelers fan will mostly agree although I’m a rams fan and my sister a Steelers fan get rid of rodgers ASAP get a new young or mid young quarterback heck even Justin fields is a better option and hire Mike McCarthy get aiyuk and the results will speak for themselves

  13. I would consider the Steelers tanking and getting a good QB for the 2027 draft. Who cares about next year? Rodgers is old and trying to get him back to compete in 2026 doesn't make sense for a 20 year plan.
