  1. We’re by far the most underachieving franchise over the past 15 years. And we just so happen to have the 2nd most heartbreaking playoff losses (Bills). I hate it here

  2. I’m never going to escape the PTSD of 2007, 2014, and 2020 games no matter how many years pass…

Favre should have had 3 rings and Rodgers should have had 3 maybe even 4, but that’s the way the game goes. Many teams should have won it all but didn’t.

  3. On the plus side

    DET 0-1

    MN 0-2

CHI 1-1, 0-1 in the Super Bowl

SF 3-4, 0-3 in the Super Bowl

    Some silver linings

    Edit: Forgor Rex Grossman

  4. As an old head, I’ll take this over the 70’s and 80’s any day. 1985 was the worst year as a Packer fan, ever.

  5. 20 years of games and 15 of 16 NFC teams are represented (no Cowboys). The Pack were in 6 of those 20 games (2nd most behind SF’s 7 appearances).

I understand that everyone wants to be the absolute best every year, but in a league that strives for parity, we’re still doing REALLY well.

  6. 14, 20 and 21 (no NFCCG but still) are the most painful IMO. 19 never felt like we had a chance tbh I remember thinking that 9ers team was gonna beat us down and they sure did.

  7. I get that numb feeling for a bit then get too invested again and end up disappointed every season

  8. Froze my ass off in 2007 bc a coworker didn’t want to face the weather so sold them below face value (4th row, 35 yard line, $150 for 2!!! ) came into work super salty with him saying “see???? Glad I didn’t go”

However 2014 hurt SO much more !

  9. ‘16 and ‘19 were acceptable to me. 2016 was an over-performance by any metric and in 2019 SF was just better.

However, I will never get over ‘14 and ‘20. Those were Super Bowls left on the table.

  10. It’s a matter of perspective. If this team became perennial basement dwellers you would yearn for the time when we consistently made the playoffs.

  11. I get being disappointed. It frustrates me. Watching all season and being excited only to be let down in often heartbreaking ways. But also. We could root for a team that have never even reached this point in the year. Trust me that would be brutal. At least we make good memories along the way and have hope. A chance. We get more time to watch our favorite team play football. We at least got one superbowl win.

  12. The 2014 one broke me.

I stopped being emotionally invested in sports after that. It was a lesson I had to learn. I still rage sometimes from the games but I will never allow myself to care that much again about something I can’t control.

  13. This is why I was laughing at fans claiming that the Bears’ loss was the most devastating one we’ve ever had.
