They shouldn’t even have a formal interview with these candidates anymore. Just put a job posting on LinkedIn or Indeed that includes two questions.
1. Do you want this job?
2. If you answered “yes” to question 1, area you REALLY REALLY sure?
That would save themselves and all these coaches/agents time.

Why would anyone coach there with a questionable GM and an owner sabotaging the team at every opportunity?

I had a wet nightmare that Matt Canada wins them their first Super Bowl.
watson has a 80M cap hit and theyre already over by 20M without cuts. they are literally going to have to lose draft assets to trade players, or go into the season with UDFA talent at starting positions, it’s just a position set up to fail.
I’ll be the Browns coach and get fired in 2 years and collect 30 million dollars.
The best executive position is in an organization that’s completely on its ass…nowhere to go but up and a great way to cut your teeth for a primo gig down the road…imo
Why don’t they just promote their DC? Whoever it is seems vaguely competent.
We are next. The top guys will want the Bills or Ravens job. After that we will be competing with the Raiders for candidates.
