  1. Wide receiver Mack Hollins didn’t practice on Wednesday, but he took a step back toward the Patriots’ lineup on Thursday.

The NFL’s daily transaction report shows that Hollins has been designated for return from injured reserve. Hollins missed the last four games with an abdominal injury.

Hollins’s participation level at Thursday’s practice will be disclosed on New England’s injury report. Hollins will also get an injury designation for Sunday’s game against the Broncos on Friday. The Patriots would need to make a roster move to activate him by Saturday afternoon.

Hollins had 46 catches for 550 yards and two touchdowns during the regular season.

  2. Unfortunately I dont think even this will be enough to stop the best QB in the league, Jarrett Stidham, who the Broncos have been saving as a secret weapon until the time was right to unleash him. Brady was the greatest back up to ever take the field, until this Sunday

  3. I think this is misdirection and they won’t activate him until the Super Bowl if they make it that far.

  4. This is big. Even if he can just take Kyle Williams snaps that’s huge. Provided another reliable target for drake maye

  5. This is really important to this offense, especially if they win against the Broncos. Mack Hollins became one of Maye’s favorite targets on those must-have downs.
