There were some people in this sub who were upset with Bam for hugging it out with DeRozan after the game, but they didn’t mention the fact that Bam DID STAND UP for Pelle Larsson during the game.

Those people didn’t watch the game, and probably don’t watch most
I’m so tired of people tryna crap on my dawg Bam. SMH
It’s wild now. Rational fans start being a bit more critical of Bam, and then the haters just go overboard with it

those ppl dont actually care if bam defended pelle or not, theyre just fishing to shit to fit their narrative
After Jimmy got traded last year, I can confidently say Bam is the captain.
Last year, during a game against the Knicks, someone tried to start something with Duncan, and Bam immediately stepped in to defend him. And now, Bam is right there standing up for Pelle.
This is a totally different Bam when UD first game him the captain position. The only time I was pissed at Bam was when he not defend Duncan from Jaylen Brown 2 year ago when he tried to snap his arm. I believe UD had a pep talk with Bam about the mentality needed to be a Captain.
Bam, now stepping in and defend his players– this is leadership.
What happened to the game I loved 😢
Bam Haters just carrying the narrative, if they watched the game they would see Bam going over DeRozan
Again with this nonsense towards Bam about absolutely nothing. The situation didn’t even involve Bam — it involved Pelle. Even as captain of the team — Bam has every right to embrace with the opponent’s/ a player that one of his teammates may have had a brush up with if he so chooses — especially if he and that player have an established friendship.
Bam may be the team captain but these guys are grown men — They don’t need anyone to step in for them every time someone steps up to them. And it doesn’t make Bam any less of a quality teammate or captain for not stepping in. And I would say this about any player in a similar situation on the team — captain or not.
I am always glad when the coaches always restrain the players on the bench from getting involved because if it escalates — that’s going to lead to fines or suspensions that this team just doesn’t need.
I dont know about yall but seeing Bam sticking up for Pelle made my motor run. We may be mid asf but I really love when the team ride for one another just like the Herro situation with Amen and how Terry, with no hesitation, made a bee line towards Thompson
Sometimes vets knock young dudes upside the head it happens
Ok but what did Herro do? Don’t see him doing shit here /s
Expecting half of this sub to actually watch the game, when they actively spend most time hating the team purely based on stat sheets, is a huge ask
