  5. If the Raiders don't hire anybody this week, I think it's because they are waiting for Josh McDaniels to be available for an interview. He and Tom Brady know how each other thinks and would possibly pair well in Las Vegas to help turn the franchise around.

  30. I'm happy with Minter. I really wanted Kubiak but as long as he doesn't go to the Steelers or Bills, I'm alright. He'll probably go to the Bills, though.

Minter will coddle Lamar "Buckwheat" Jackson — allow him to miss practices, schedule afternoon practices so Buck can sleep in due to the fact he is up all night playing video games and does not get to sleep till the morning hours– this is a fact — Harbough must be thrilled to coach Jaxson Dart who is all in on football and not gaming

  34. As a Ravens fan, I am being cautiously optimistic, but I am willing to give Minter a chance to show what he got. Anyone that says we should have gotten an offensive-minded HC, have you seen how badly our defense regressed with MacDonald's departure? Lamar Jackson was not the problem; it's the defense that had led the team down by giving up so much big plays and costing us leads. Plus, the Ravens' identity has always been our DEFENSE, and I cannot tell you how embarrassing it felt to take the shade thrown by rival fans even though we have pieces on the field. If Minter can even replicate some of the schemes MacDonald ran during his 2 years in Baltimore, that is good enough for me.
    Right now, though, what the Ravens need is to fix the trenches, and especially on the defensive line, cause I have long railed about how the Ravens needed Suggs or Judon 2.0 to make opposing quarterbacks uncomfortable in the pocket. I know the offensive line is equally important, but I personally believe a premier edge rusher that can keep up with Myles Garrett or TJ Watt is what the Ravens need while their contending window is still open.

  35. DC to be HC to keep Defense as Ravens DNA.
    Let's hope we get a great OC to help push the Offense forward.
    The new DC needs to be lit as well.
    I'm hoping Kingsbury gets the OC job and Weaver gers the DC job
