  1. Just FYI the off season is not yet over. Geez

    Buster HAS completely remade coaching staff which is going to bring a lot of NEW thinking and brains to develop a LOT of young talent…Schmidt, Matos, Gilbert, Fitzgerald, Birdsong, Whisenhunt, Seymour, Susac, Lee, Walker, Pequero, Tidwell, Eldridge, Jesus, McDonald, Bo, Jhonny even Bailey and Ramos.

    and Chapman, Adames, Devers, Logan ain’t nothing.

  2. I've often thought, what would Mays, Koufax, Gibson, Mantle, et al could be paid compared to the $30-$40 million per year the above average players are getting today. There wouldn't be enough $ out there to pay them! 😄

  4. I don’t think Whisenhunt i’ll ever be that great of a starting pitcher. I don’t think he has a great repertoire of pitches. But with his nasty change up and his fastball, he could become a very good to excellent bullpen guy in late innings. Not a closer but 7th-8th inning guy. As long as he doesn’t have to face hitters twice he can be a very effective in the BP imo.

  5. Giants should sign Doyeong Kim when he gets posted out of the KBO. Best power and speed display. More speed and Power than Ha-Seong Kim and Jung Hoo Lee.

  6. I hope I'm wrong and Buster does something I really do, but the optics are just horrendous.

    Dodgers, got better
    Braves, got better
    Mets, got better (trending that way)
    Cubs, got better
    Phillies, still better than 2025 Giants
    Brewers, still better than 2025 Giants
    Reds, still better than 2025 Giants
    Padres, still better than 2025 Giants
    Diamondbacks remain on par with Giants
    Giants, Nothing Like It.

    10th place might get you a point in Formula One but all it gets you in MLB is Uber Eats when you order your food from your lounge room watching October Baseball instead of playing it.

  7. What a spineless way to comment on the Giants neglecting their fans . Thanks a lot guys. As a journalist how are you not adding this to the list of organizational deficiencies this franchise has demonstrated in the last 10 years!
