3. Although I’m not a huge fan of Tippet I’d try and swing a deal to get Hathaway out of here.

4. At this point he looks like tops a second line center, with good size, and might have a difficult personality. Might be a good reclamation project.

9. He’s not great on draws with his individual faceoff percentage is below 40% this year, and starts over 75% of his shifts in the o-zone with an on-ice xG% of 50% and on-ice Corsi at 46%. Basically gets a head start of creating offense by starting in the ozone, but still ends up being a break-even player.

11. If you panic signed Dvorak because centers don’t come available, I can’t imagine not taking a swing on Wright. But maybe he doesn’t “play the game the right way” or whatever we’re deluding ourselves into

15. Why would we need another 3C?

16. For a team that seemingly has no hope at C anytime soon, I think he could be a good target (if the price is, dare I say, Wright) with hopes that he can at least turn into a very good 2C. He’s still young and Seattle’s offense isn’t very good, a change of scenery and being paired with 2 solid wingers could unlock some potential that I think is still there.

17. I think he’s working taking a swing on depending on the price. I don’t expect him to be much of a player though. Maybe he becomes a 2C, but even that I think is unlikely.

19. I legitimately do not care if we snag Wright. But the bottom line is that this guy was slated as a 1OA and we need to be in the running for some of these players and I have heard our name exactly zero times. Clearly arent tanking, so how tf do we expect to acquire any talent without drafts or trading? Are we expecting 5-10 Adam fox type players who *only* want to sign here? I am genuinely asking. 

20. If its a good deal, yes. Jonesy has said that they are not ready to overpay for anybody yet.
