I don’t get it, objectively cooper is having a better overall season than Kon but people seem hell bent on saying the latter will be ROY. Yes as a mavs fan I am obviously biased, but watching both their games it seems pretty clear why you’d want Coop and everything he brings offensively/defensively than KK. Maybe im just numb bc of AD/everyone else’s injuries this year but doesn’t seem like he’s missed that much time either.. Am I missing something?

Id love for Coop to win it but who cares really. In a couple of years, Coop will be in all-nba convos anyway.
It is pretty simple, he is a much better three point shooter right now.
I think it’s the hype clause. Nobody really thought Kon was gonna do much. And he’s turning out to be amazing. coop came in with a lot of hype. And he’s living up to it. I mean anyone would take coop over Kon but Kon is way over expectations.

they just trying to build up the drama, flagg will win it as long as he doesn’t get injured or his production falls off a cliff.
Kon is legitimately having one of the best shooting seasons ever, let alone for a rookie. You can think Kon has been better this season while still preferring Cooper going forward.
I’ve seen this before and learned my lesson the hard way.
It’s a Kon job.
Dude when all is said and done Coop is gonna be a two way superstar.
Shout out OP for this post…I commented that Kon should be number 1 for ROTY and many of the non-basketball watchers/Cooper glazers were acting like I was speaking a foreign language

There were similar articles about Trae over taking Luka for roty, Cooper will win.
Kon is the better 3 point shooter cause that’s his role, another 3&D player similar to Klay
Flagg is still the better Two-way player even if Kon wins the ROTY
