  1. Separation % against single coverage in this draft class according to PFF:

    KC Concepcion – 79.2% (98th percentile!!!)

    Carnell Tate – 75% (95th percentile)

    Jordyn Tyson – 66.7% (80th percentile)

    Omar Cooper Jr. – 65% (76th percentile)

    Makai Lemon – 62.5% (66th percentile)

Denzel Boston, Germie Bernard, Chris Brazzel, Deion Burks, Chris Bell were all in the 50-59th percentile range

Elijah Sarratt, Skyler Bell, Malachi Fields, Jakobi Lane were all sub 50th percentile

One of the reasons I don’t want to draft a WR high this year is because next year’s WR class is already looking much better. Draft analysts are already calling 2027 a fantastic WR class and better than 2026. Jeremiah Smith is the jackpot pick that we almost certainly won’t get, but I think the Chiefs would get a better 1st round prospect there than they would this year even if they’re picking in the 20s vs 9.
